      Arctic Circle: The goal of this web site is to stimulate among viewers a greater interest in the peoples and environment of the Arctic and Subarctic region. It has three interrelated themes: natural resources; history and culture; social equity and environmental justice.

      Internet History Sourcebooks: The Internet History Sourcebooks are collections of public domain and copy-permitted historical texts presented cleanly (without advertising or excessive layout) for educational use.
      Today-in-History Page of Scope Systems: Lists the name and year of birth of people whose birthday falls on the current day, those who died on this day, as well as important events, holidays and religious observances.
      Victorian Web: Literature, history and culture in the age of Victoria. Very comprehensive.
      World History: Contains maps, documents, and timelines from the ancient world though the 20th century.
      World History Archives: A collection of documents for teaching and learning about world history from a working class perspective.
      World History: HyperHistory: World History: HyperHistory Online navigates through 3,000 years of World History with links to important persons of world historical importance.
      World Statesmen: A comprehensive and accurate list of the heads of state and heads of government for all countries and territories, going back to about 1700, or in some cases, earlier. Entries include some subdivisions; most entries also include a historical timeline and links to flags, national anthems, and constitutions. World statesmen lists, leaders of international, religious, and governmental organizations.
